Our approach
Rehumanize Work™ is Scimitar’s leadership and team coaching capability. We help leaders and teams make small, approachable shifts in how they work, communicate, and prioritize – changes that compound over time into clarity, confidence, and days that feel less reactive and more intentional.

Establishment of a scalable leadership operating model that improved execution, accountability, and organizational culture across 700+ Regulatory staff.
Insights
Challenge: The Regulatory Development function faced inconsistent leadership practices, limited alignment, and difficulty translating strategy into action. With over 700 employees, leaders needed a structured, repeatable way to plan, prioritize, and drive execution against capability and performance goals.
Approach: Two business managers led the implementation of a new leadership operating model that established clear rhythms for planning, decision-making, and accountability. Leadership teams were trained and coached to connect goals with capability development, use data for progress tracking, and strengthen collaboration across teams.

Executive Coaching

Insights
Challenge: A senior leader and their team sought to enhance leadership effectiveness, alignment, and long-term career development. While technically strong, feedback revealed gaps in communication, influence, and decision-making that impacted team engagement and cohesion. The leader also wanted to think and plan more intentionally for future career progression.
Approach: Through executive coaching and team sessions, we defined the leader’s “compass”—their desired perception—assessed current perceptions and developed a targeted plan to preserve core strengths while upskilling in key leadership and communication areas.

HTA Value & Evidence

Insights
Challenge: The HV&E / HEOR organization faced fragmented planning cycles, inconsistent leadership rhythms, and limited transparency into progress against strategic goals. Leadership needed a structured approach to connect strategy, execution, and culture while improving operational discipline.
Approach: We designed and implemented a comprehensive leadership operating system that linked strategic intent to execution. This included an integrated annual planning process, leadership cadence model, and governance toolkit. Quarterly reviews, portfolio visibility tools, and clear ownership frameworks reinforced alignment and accountability.

Team Coaching
An immersive one-day workshop to help a Data Science team sharpen strategic thinking and communication skills– driving more effective alignment, decision-making, and outcomes.

Challenge: A mid-sized pharmaceutical data science team excelled at analytics but struggled to communicate insights effectively to executives and cross-functional leaders. Leadership sought support to help the team connect data to strategy and convey the “why” behind their work through more compelling, audience-aware storytelling.
Approach: In a half-day workshop, the team learned a structured framework for strategic thinking and communication. They practiced linking the “what” to the “why” and “why now,” assessing audience needs, clarifying impact, and designing presentations that drive decisions and focus on the right work at the right time.
