Akira brings 20 years of US and Global experience as a biotechnology and pharmaceutical consultant and industry leader. His experience includes leading global brand planning efforts, product launch strategies, and cross-functional collaborations that have contributed to market success across diverse therapeutic areas.
From starting his career with Baxter working on Hemophilia, to equity research covering small and mid-cap biotech companies on wall street, to his consulting career which included stints in NY, London, now Los Angeles and which spans from data analytics consulting, to competitive intelligence, and management and strategy consulting.
Over the past decade, Akira has focused his attention on helping companies launch effectively in the US and building a launch practice at EVERSANA of over 20 consultants with the same focus on launch readiness, launch strategy, and PMO support, as well as supporting the components of a successful launch. His leadership of product launches across therapy areas have contributed to his ability to support clients in interim CCO and COO roles.
